How do I cheat?

Not sure if this has been asked before but I find myself unable to do anything with the RAGS engine. I can find whatever I want to modify just fine, it's just that any changes I make don't stick. Freezing the value doesn't work either. If anybody knows of a workaround, I'm all ears. Or if you're able to create a cheat table. Any port in a storm.

If it helps, the game I wanted to muck around with is "No Haven."

Oh and before it's suggested, the business with opening a proxy debug panel with the Designer tool doesn't work anymore.
