|
|
I've searched the forum for quite a while and was surprised to not find one mention to the issue I'm facing.
When I save my standalone trainer I notice two issues.
The first is that there is no icon whatsoever on the taskbar, even though I specifically selected one. This happens whether I select an icon or not, even if I use CE's default icon.
The second issue is that when I minimize my trainer, instead of minimizing to the taskbar it hovers in the bottom-left corner just above the start icon.
I don't think this is standard but I have no clue why this is happening.
I'm using Windows 10 x64, everything is pretty much default in terms of themes an all... any thoughts?
EDIT:
The trainer is fully programmed in LUA, forms included. Might there be any initialization that I'm not doing in LUA that would happen if I used the form editor?
Thanks!

yes, if you use the form editor the icons will be set to the trainer torm and setup some related stuff as well.

Yeah, I supposed that was the case.
Anyway, I think that I have worked around it by using the 'ShowInTaskBar' attribute which I wasn't aware of:
| Code: | | myForm.ShowInTaskBar = 'stAlways' |
As for the icon I was already using a bit of code that I found on another thread which assigns an icon file previously attached to the table:
| Code: | createForm()
myForm = CreateForm()
myForm.FormStyle = 'fsNormal'
myForm.OnClose = function (sender) closeCE() return caFree end
myForm.Height = 640
myForm.Width = 480
myForm.Caption = "My Trainer"
myForm.centerScreen()
myForm.ShowInTaskBar = 'stAlways'
return myForm
end
function attachIcon(myForm, icoFile)
local picture = createPicture()
picture.loadFromStream(findTableFile(icoFile).Stream, 'ico')
local bitmap = picture.getBitmap()
myForm.Icon = bitmap
end
attachIcon(createForm(), 'trainer.ico') |
*included createForm() to give context to attachIcon()
Thanks again!
