How do I cheat?

I've just reinstall Cheat Engine but each time I try to search a value I got this error

Scan error:controller:Cleanup:ResultsPrepare:Error when while loading result

I searched how to fix it but I haven't found anything

Basic troubleshooting tips:
Make sure you're running CE as administrator.
Try reinstalling CE.
Run regreset.exe in the main CE directory.
Temporarily disable any anti-virus programs and see if that helps.

Thanks, worked for me (antivirus disable). Panda Antivirus was not a bother, but in some moments a Bydefense 'crap' antimalware that I didn't ask nor approve to install got installed without for me to notice. Got rid of it, works smooth without nothing else, as it always was ok.

I had he same issue. ByteFence anti malware got installed somehow (i suspect with CE itself) and was blocking CE
