Depends on the game.

If there is a moment of invulnerability (e.g. flickering character, just after re-spawning), you can search for the countdown timer for that.

If there is no such invincibility to target, you can try ultimap - but it's not for beginners.

Or if there is a life counter, you could look into what calls the counter to go down and analyze from that point.

Not to be rude but if all you've done in 14 days is select a game, I don't think you're going to find anyone willing to teach you. This is more of a teach yourself and try to figure it out for a few hours prior to posting looking for someone to walk you through it.
