Most games have the interesting values stored server side so you can't cheat in those.

If the value is stored on your computer, its pretty simple to cheat

If you're talking about flash games:
1. download a standalone flash player (adobe has one)
2. open the page source from the site with your target game
3. find the game file (*.swf)
4. open the file link in the standalone player
5. start cheating like in every other game
