Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong place.
I've been trying to get the pointer value of an agent in Bloons Tower Defense 5 Deluxe (the steam version), the value is super easy to get, it's like the second scan, but when I try to do the pointer it comes up with a lot, like usual, but this time if I re-scan for pointers they all just disappear, I tried clicking on a few that were already there the first scan but no luck, I would very much appreciate it if you were to help me!
(and if this is in the wrong place, please tell me where to put it so I know next time.)

It is a flash game. I believe there is a table in the flash section for this game.

| Well, actually, I am using the Steam version, and trying to make my own table. I don't want to use someone else's. I'll edit my post saying I am using the Steam version.

For pointers, if this occurs, you should enhance your pointer scanning strategy:
Find your value
Generate a pointermap
Load a new game
Find your value
Perform a pointer scan
--Compare results with saved pointermap, increase max offset value, increase max level, possibly set max different offsets per node
Personally, I would learn a new trick instead of trying to find the pointer.
Right click the value you found: "Find out what accesses this address"
This post will help you figure out what to do with that pops up:

| The game seems to crash when I use find out what writes/accesses this address.

Try changing your debugger
Try to google your problems before asking. You will learn better when actively solving a problem rather than passively solving it.

| I did google it. No information came up for me, I guess I searched for the wrong thing then.

That doesn't change the fact that this is a flash game unless they re-wrote the game engine to use another language. Steam is a marketplace not a game engine so it doesn't matter where you got your copy.
This game generates data on the fly which means unless you do something related to the data, it isn't available in memory. That could be the reason your pointer path doesn't work.
Change your debugger to VEH to avoid the crashes.

Ah, I see, thanks for the info. Changing the debugger worked. I figured they used something else for the game, but I guess not, thanks!
