Hi,

I'm currently playing CSR Racing v3.3.1:9904(1.20171)

I enjoy the game. The game has racing seasons in which players can win cars and exclusive decal which will regard the car as "pro".

Now I haven't played all the seasons but most of the cars are available but without them being "pro". I want my current cars to become "pro".

There is an app for the game called CSR Racing Save Editor v.0.3 by alexx999. It was made for the android/ios plaform but I thought I'd give it a try on the windows version.

I get the user profile file from the game data folder (user/appdata/local/packages/csrracingfolder/localstate/pp). It loads up and I can edit my current information.

Once I got it, I changed some cars to elite as seen in the attachments, saved the profile and copied it back to the folder. I loaded up the game and then suddenly my profile is lost(resets) all the way from the beginning.

On the android version, it works fine but not on Windows.

In cheat engine, I search for a string of text called crdb which is basically what the save editor shows (in attachments). I want to edit that text but I don't know how to as well as add string into it, in order to get the desired outcome.

That's the backstory so now I need help understanding why the program doesn't work for the Windows version & why it resets my game and how to edit that string of text. Once you try to edit the crdb, it encrypts.

In an attachment, the wording must change from false to true (circled).

So some help please, I'm a noob in hacking.

Thanks so much

Embarassed Smile

It seems like Natural Motion upgraded their encryption in their latest version (v3.5.0) probably like some fail safe if the user save file is changed or a checksum checker. I don't know.

It's a Windows 10 store game so is it Microsoft or Natural Motion that prevents hacking like I've mentioned above?

Quick google search suggest game is semi-server sided. A.K.A. there is a web address that it goes to that checks what you have against what the server thinks you should have.
