alright so,
Im scanning for a list of values using the pointer scanner. The scanner gives me several good addresses, many of which appear to continue working after a dozen game restarts. Then out of the blue:
BAM!
None of the pointers from the scans are valid anymore, forcing me to redo the whole process, and certainly making it impossible to distribute a table.
i tried swapping to a more traditional method of pointer scanning, but i get cut off after about the 3rd offset, it giving me an address with no offset that looks something like: FFFFFFFFFB0DB580 and doesnt return anything.
Anyone have a suggestion for how to keep my pointers from disappearing?

| I recently learned some tips on pointer scanner. You should save your pointer map from your first scan, and then when it finally breaks (at the BAM!), find your address manually again and perform a new pointer map, use the pointer scanner with both pointer maps and you can more easily find the correct pointer (by going deeper and wider, faster).

Thanks cooleko!
Im not sure how i couldve lost the correct pointer to begin with, since theoretically, once you do you scan its just a matter of narrowing down which pointer still point to the right address, but ill give your suggestion a try and see what turns up.
edit: so, actually trying your advice, when i re-entered my new manually found address into the original pointer scan, the entire thing came up blank.
maybe i need to widen my range?

Yeah, go down to 7-10 levels, make your offset range wider, etc
It is possible to tell us the game or is it against the rules?
