Hello, i am trying to find the static address for a skill in a game i have been tracing down the addresses and the offsets but then after 2 addresses in i do find what accesses this address, and i get this (eax+esi*4) What would the offset be for this?
Process:
Skill start Address: 47BC044C > Find out What accesses this > Offset:1CC 47BC0280 search that address = 3FA0E6F4+1CC add to pointer and points to correct place >>find out what accesses this > offset: 2D4
3FA0E420 hex search address = 5610431C offset 2D4 added to the pointer they are pointing to the correct place>>find out what accesses this i am getting [eax+esi*4] with an address of 561041B0
but i cannot go further because i cant figure out the offset if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated thank you!
Value of EAX holds the base address. Value of ESI holds an index.
Multiply by 4 (4-byte values) to select the item at the specified index.
If ESI equals 0x10, then the offset is 0x40. Simple math.
ESI is holding 5B how would you multiply it with a letter, sorry if this is really simple i just started messing around with it and some tutorials then i got stuck and thank you for replying!
