Your tax dollars will now cripple the economy to cool the earth 0.2 degrees!

"To help developing countries switch from fossil fuels to greener sources of energy and adapt to the effects of climate change, the developed world will provide $100 billion a year," NPR's Chris Joyce, who has been covering the climate conference, reports.

To prevent it from raising by 2 degrees.

I know you're probably just trolling, but this is a serious issue, and reaching a $100 billion dollar agreement is no small feat. This is a huge triumph for clean energy, and if you don't think that global warming is a serious threat, then you're willingly sticking your head in the sand. 2 degrees of rise will have far more impact than it just being 2 degrees hotter on some particular day.

even if we were to make a drastic change today some unreversable damage has already been done. its kinda too late to an extent but will only continue to get worse if nothing is done and this major issue continues to be overlooked and taken lightly.

We've got some shit headed our way, but not apocalypse yet. It will be if nothing gets done soon though, especially in the smaller countries, which is something this is targeting.

A huge triumph? You're joking right?

The Paris Climate Summit accomplished nothing. It was all talk, no action. There is nothing in writing, no contracts that can be legally upheld. Nobody is legally required to do anything.

And that 100 billion per year, who does it go to? Answer: China

China, which is considered to be a "developing nation", will receive payments from developed nations. China will receive most of the 100 billion because they are the biggest industrial country in the world.

The west should not be paying China, CHINA SHOULD BE PAYING US.

kek. I'm not afraid of China, it's not like it's communism during the red scare, you and trump throw that country's name around expecting it to mean anything. Also, I would love your intel on how this 100 billion is going to China.

Keep trollin'.
