Ive recently been deciding to get cheat engine or not, and people say it has a virus, some say it doesnt. Its making me very confused and worried i might get a virus, because i just got my computer fixed from a virus and it costed me lots of money to fix. I dont have that much money, and if it has a virus and i dont know it, i dont want to have to pay again. My computer is almost my life, i do everything on it. so this is very important and thank you for your help. Question

It is not. Just read the installer carefully while you install it or you may land up with some junkware since Cheat Engine uses a bundled installer as a means of making some money for it being free.

You paid money to have viruses removed ? That is cruel, most people would help you for free, there are even forums dedicated to this helping out noobs etc.

Anyhow, cheat engine is definitely not a virus. There won't be a whole community dedicated to a virus, think about it.

The installer does come with adware but as long as you can read and have the power to say no, you should be fine Smile
