After running for awhile attached to the same process, Cheat Engine will start replacing certain byte codes with CC. For example, in the AOB 8B 89 68 01 00 00, the 8B would be replaced with CC and searching for the original AOB wouldn't turn up any results. Restarting CE or attaching to a different process seems to fix the problem for a short while, but reinstalling didn't seem to have effect. Has anyone else encountered this?

Possibly unrelated, CE will sometimes save invalidly formatted tables when this occurs.

you probably saved the bytes of the instruction while you still had a breakpoint enabled.

Always disable all breakpoints
