where we as a species use our highly intelligent minds, and truly evolve past our primal selves. I'd love to see a world where that is possible. I don't think it'll ever happen.

I agree with you completely, to an extent it's already happened externally. There are just so many things that can be changed within our society that would benefit the entire human race exponentially.
