How can i find the value to prolong the buff that i want?

For example,
A buff that only appear when u enter a PVP Town,and that have 10S buff for unbeatable.
once you leave the town the buff will disappear..

scan for the buff value (probably a floating point) and then try to simply lock it, or put NOP's on the code that decreases it
