Cheat Engine

im trying to test out all the funtions of this flash game like i always do when it updates, to do this i simply do a money hack, scanning for current amount i have, spending a little, doing the next scan, and so on untill i have the right value to edit
but now, even on the first scan, none of the values it finds to match the one i scanned for are actually for the money
i know this because when i spend a little none of the adress values change, so it doesnt matter if i do another scan for the new money amount, the can wont find it.
the flash game can be on web browser or desktop and i tried it on both, earlier versions allow cheat engine to work so its obviously the game, is there anything i can do? any tips?
