| im sick of just rotting in my room all day, i have so much talent and I do nothing with it. I dont want to go back to college, but i was thinking about becoming an electricians apprentice. While i look for one to take me on, ill just get a whatever job but honestly, i havnt worked in like two years. Im a hard worker but i just get anxious as fuck during the interview.

| Sometimes when companies are looking for a lot of employees, usually for events, they have these info sessions (for like a whole bunch of people at the same time) and at the end of the session you just need to fill in some papers and they hire almost anyone without interviewing them. These jobs are usually only for a few days, but if you show them that you're a good worker they'll contact you when they need extra people for the next event. Eventually some of the regular employees will quit and you'll be able to take their place.

Good companies hire people that believes in what the companies does. Before you get hired, volunteer to work for free and say if they are impressed then get hired.
This is effective because it shows:
Taking ownership and initiative.
Feels the company is their personal obligations.
Feels part of thE company
so that you do the extra mile even if you don't get paid for it.
It will show you will work hella hard.

The most successful people in the world only has one thing upped than everybody else. Froom Andrew Carnegie to Thomas Jefferson or just about any of the greats. And that is control. They are aware of what they're doing and what everyoubody else is doing. Take ownership of their life and decided nobody is going to fuck with their control.
Why entrepreneurs that are successful didn't like to work for somebody else is because they didn't like not having control in their life. Someone that would control their destiny, how much they make, when to get to woek, decide how much their worth is. They don't like that shit.

I think you'll find nowadays that most places have the same pre-employment processes for volunteers that they do for employees. An offer of a free trial period is much less attractive if you still have to pay for drug tests, background checks, etc. It's great to show you're earnest, but most low-level management isn't going to have a strong desire to discuss unusual hiring practices with HR.
Besides, if they're hiring unskilled labor, they probably want the position filled yesterday. You're going to be more successful by focusing on trying to convince someone that you are the right candidate than you are by suggesting a trial basis that may or may not work.
Just my two cents, I could be wrong.
