I have encountered a timer which is client-side in "something". I would like to know how to speed up this timer and how to prevent it from reverting and starting over again. The reason it starts over I believe is due to the values not appearing true due to the speed up.

Third attempt at this thread.
game hasn't been mentioned only the programming language.
I actually have created a timer before in C++ and would like to know the relationship.
