I would like to know how to create a string map. I have version 6.3. I've seen pictures of them on these boards and would like to know how it was created.

Yes. Just tested with the following steps:

1. Print screen from Snagit Academic Version 9.1.3 (Build 19), using Image Capture Mode with Scrolling Window Profile (text capture mode will not work here)
2. Save as .tif file from Snagit Editor (other formats will not work as well)
3. Save .tif file as .pdf from Adobe Photoshop CC Version 14.0 x64 (simply printing/saving to .pdf from Snagit Editor and skipping this step did not work as well for me)
4. Use Recognize Text feature from Adobe Acrobat X Version 10.1.2
5. Select all and copy/paste text to your favorite text editor

I'm sure there are other ways. Very Happy
