So I've found an address that associates to the currency in a game, however I'm unable to find that value again upon scanning for the exact value.



I'm unsure why this occurs, but it makes me wonder if there's a setting that's been changed that prevent the scanning of some memory? I'm not sure, so I'm asking. I'm able to manipulate that value, so I know it's the correct address, but it's strange that I'm not able to search the value down again using the exact value.

By changing the search the 'rounded', I was able to find the value without any issues. Can someone please explain why this is the case?

perhaps it was actyally stored as 67824111.99999999999 but displayed as 67824112

truncated discards the part after the decimal seperator. So when it checked if 67824111 was the same as 67824112 it would fail
the rounded scans are a bit more forgiving.
default would scan for values between 67824111.5 and 67824112.5
extreme would scan for 67824111.1 and 67824112.9
