I have been trying to use auto assembler to modify an address but I'm having trouble with it.

I want to write a script to set the value of and address to a certain value. So let's say i found the base address for the amount of points in a game. I know how to write a script to make it continuously add points.

When I open the auto assembler and code injection, if the original code is

mov [ebx+00000450],edx


I would change that to

add [ebx+00000450], 10

But this would just make the value of the address just add points continuously.

I want to know how to write a script to make the address set into a value, rather than continuously increasing.
