I'm sorry if I'm not in the right place to be asking this

I'm trying to add a table to dark souls 2 but I don't know how to move the code I get when I click download into the engine.

Right-click and save as to get the .CT file.

Then you open that in Cheat Engine via File - Load.

I have windows 10 idk if that's the problem but I get

If your only option is to open it, then open it in the browser. Now File > Save As "blah.CT"

lol, you can't use microsoft edge for this,
have to use other browser

Windows 10 only provided ms edge and ie

I got it to open and I have the table open in cheat engine. But for some reason it doesn't seem to be communicating with the game, everything looks normal except for the values column, instead of displaying values, only displays question marks
Any suggestions?

This might the reason:
1.cheat engine is not hooking the game or hooking a wrong process.
2.the cheat table is not campatible with the game version.

Solution:
1.hook the right process with cheat engine.
2.update the table to make it compatible with your game version.

there are many master/grandmaster cheater who make tutorials and
scripts.
you're just have to find right solution for your problem
when you're stuck you can alway ask.
