| I am an RE4 speedrunner and me and some other runners are making an autosplitter for the game. We have it splitting on each chapter but we need to find the memory location of the In Game Timer to make the splits both start and end. We have to start and end manually as of right now. Our problem is we are using CE and cannot find the value at all. We know that the IGT does not increase when you are in the pause menu, so we tried to use that to our advantage and search for values that did not change, but to no avail. If anyone has the game on Steam (the UHD edition) and can help us find it, please contact me here or Pitted and I on Twitter. Thanks!

Tried all the usual value types? Lets say the timer says 2:57.
That is roughly 177 seconds or 177000 milliseconds.
Scan float, double, 4-byte, and 8-byte between 175 and 179 (+/- 2).
Scan float, double, 4-byte, and 8-byte between 175000 and 179000 (+/- 2000).

Also use Cheat Engine to pause the game not the (in game) pause menu

Setting up hotkeys for speedhack values 0.0 and 1.0 can give you an easy way to "freeze" and then resume the game quickly.
