I've been watching and reading some tutorials, but i'm newb; hope this is right forum.

Anyway; most of waht i'm looking at in tutorials are dynamic numbers.

for this game, i'm looking for run speed. I've opened up the save file in SQL Lite Admin, but have no idea how to use it properly.

i do know the values, but here are my questions:

1) How do you go about finding a static number in CE?

2) is something like run speed, which is stored in save game file, even accessible in Ce?

3) Any good tutorials are creating pointers to memory addresses? (the native CE tutorial was extremely confusing).

edit: i did figure it out using SQL Browser,

and i used the data from the save to figure it out in cheat engine, so its possible to change it in cheat engine.

I'm still trying to figure out how point scanning works.

From a few yoututbe videos, it says i can point scan multiple times and then use the saved data to whittle down the potential address, but i can't figure out how to combine the scans i saved. The 'find out what writes to this address' and the 'access this address' commands (hotkeys: F5 and F6) do not show anything related to it.

I'm getting millions of hits when i use the point scanner. If anyone knows any tutorials on this let me know.

The person who made the drakensang Dark Eye table, the file no longer exsts on the server so i can't try to reverse engineer it. I'm sure i'm missing something basic
