I've been trying for about two hours using all scan to find some addresses but when i find it and change the value nothing happens to the game suggestions. note i believe it is a float point but it has shown up in byte scans

I can't remember exactly but i think this game either had encrypted values or used a different type of data type (strings ?) for storing important values.

Take a look around tables section, i think Geri even made a table for it. That should let you know what data type is used by this game and why you can't find the value you are looking for.

Indie games are actually the hardest to train sometimes because of the weird crappy engines they use or the novel ones so they are not so known and reversed as much.

I remember when UE2 and UE3 engines first came out, they were considered the hardest but now anyone with half a brain can train them because they have been reversed to death and documented so much.

You wouldn't believe but most indie developers have clearly no fucking idea what they do all the time (simple check the amount of patches for indie games comparing to triple A titles).

They also implement a multiplayer which is not serversided and start to encrypt values and pack their executable with public packers used for software protection in hope of it will prevent idiots from cheating in multiplayer.

Even here on CE forum you see people adding cheats for the same old triple A title months after it was released and don't bother with many of the recent indie titles. Why? Because it's a massive amount of work for a title, which is getting patched every day and forces you to update your table.
