|
|
Question 1:
Is it possible to enter 2 addresses and find two pointers that point to these addresses, that only differ in one offset? For example:
(I enter the addresses of the health of player 1 and of player 2):
[app.exe]+FF112233+4+C //health for player 1
[app.exe]+FF112233+8+C //health for player 2
or (I enter the addresses of player 1's health and of his ammo):
[app.exe]+FF112233+4+C //health for player 1
[app.exe]+FF112233+4+10 //ammo for player 1
It would save such an incredible amount of time!
So is there maybe a feature in CE that I'm missing? Can I do this using the lua engine? Or are there maybe other programs that can do it?
Question 2:
Is there a way to tell the Pointer Scanner to only save pointers that start with a specific "module"+moduleoffset?
Best regards,
hitmetwice

you can use the structure spider.
fill in as base address the region you wish to start from
check "pointer must be in range" and fill in the destination address twice (so it only find that one specific address)
compare against can stay blank, unless you like to compare it against another base address

Is there a manual for the structure spider?
I don't really understand it.
I think I'm doing it totally wrong.
So here is basically what I did:
The only 3 fields that I understand are Max Level, Struct Size and Variable display type.
Another question: If I actually have to enter the base address of the module, where in CE can I see it?

Leave compare against empty, or give it another base address
Also, the base address in this case is the address it points to
The rest is fine

| But if I left compare empty, where would I enter the health address of player 2? If CE doesn't know both addresses, it couldn't find a common pointer.

I really can't figure it out.
I already searched the whole web and CE homepage for a tutorial/documentation or whatever for the structure spider, but I can't find anything.
