Hey!

I am getting the bsod of win 8.1 when I try to change some values on euro truck simulator 2. What can I d to prevent this issue?

make sure no kernelmode options are enabled.

if that doesn't work, try buying new hardware as this error should only show up with drivers that do weird things (e.g ce's kernelmode) or when hardware causes drivers to do weird things because they are failing and the driver doesn't know how to handle it

You could try reseating some components, too. With time, graphics cards especially, hardware bits and cables can sometimes work themselves a little bit out of place.

Could be:
- RAM
- Network
If network, your firewall software could be the culprit.
I've been getting that error with older versions of Agnitum Outpost Firewall.
