How do I cheat?

When i click the green letters on the cheat engine about thing, even though the letters are green, after click them, i click yes to run DBVM and my computer freezes. After it freezes, i get a frown face Sad error saying CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT appears. It says i have DBVM, im on a windows 8 laptop toshiba, and i have got all updates my computer tells me about. What should i do.... Mad

It means dbvm encountered something it did not expect.
Perhaps another virtual machine was running. Or you have a weird memory layout, or you have too manu cpu cores, or something else.

it's recommended to use a completely clean windows install without any patches or anything installed
