Issues finding values in Ace of Spades (Steam version)

How do I cheat?

Ok, I feel like this is a really stupid question, but...
When I go into cheat engine, select my process and then try and find values, it finds a few values the first two times, but then when I search for the last time to make sure I have the right data values, I get no results.

For example, if I was trying to find data for ammo in a clip...

5 shots in a clip. *searches for 5, tons of results* shoots *searches for 4, many results* shoots *searches for 3, only 2 results* shoots *searches for 2, no results*

Do I have the wrong process or something?
