Cheat Engine

I have been having trouble with running DBVM,
it says it supports DBVM but when I run it manually,
it just hangs my PC,
whereas if I execute a script in Lua Engine,
it auto-runs DBVM, not hanging my PC,
but giving a BSOD.
I've tried most ways of troubleshooting, and it's not working out great.
I'm here to just ask,

Is there anyway I can completely disable DBVM?
(for say, making it so that it thinks my pc don't support dbvm)

Will it count if I disable hardware virtualization in BIOS Settings?

Just remember that without dbvm that hack you wish to use won't work
