How do I cheat?

The address field is disabled when I tick the pointer checkbox.

As you can see when it's not ticked I can change the address.

For pointers you enter the address below in the field above Add Offset button .

I've tried that and it seems to have different behaviors, sometimes it points to the original address sometimes it won't it's weird. Well I've found an easier way for me to do what I want to do using the calculate new address tool.
