How do I cheat?

Hi Guys,

I have one question. If i make any changes in production or any fields through Cheat Engine and save the game... After i restart my saved game .... will everything will be saved or should i have to restart cheat engine and do the same thing again?

Coz i encountered one issue yesterday... i made some changes in production values and it was okay and when i saved game and today when i tried to play again without cheat engine my saved game went back to old values....

Can any one tell me why?
