Hi im new to the forums, and I was wondering if anyone could help me out to learn how to remove a certain limitation in a program. Oh and im very sorry if im posting in the wrong section.
Alrighty, so in the program there a few things that can be inputed (like numbers). But in one of those the value cannot be changed. How do i figure out what that value is, it never changes, and how can i change it? Thanks in advance for any help!
Oh and the file is .exe but i was messin around with a bunch of stuff and figured out that (I THINK) it has something to do with java, so im not sure if i am supposed to link the java process to CE or the exe process... also was poking around with resource hacker and it sais it has some java resources... also i think i should mention im not very familiar with programming and stuff like that but i always like to learn new things
Thanks for the reply DaSpamer! Just downloaded ollydbg and checked it out, gonna surf around for some tutorials on youtube. Is there any code/command or w/e I should be looking for in particular?
ok so ive checked out some tutorials for ollydbg, but for that i guess i have to know a lot about asm functions etc, wich im a total noob at. almost all videos on youtube that use ollydbg is for removing trial periods, bypassing password, getting a serial number etc. but all i really need is just to enable or change the value in the typing field where you choose for example how much money you have (i dont know what this typing box is called) wich in my case is grayed out and unchangable.
