I noticed that util map when used tends to slow down teh game to such a crawl that i crash on a regular basis. Can utilmap be used when connecting to a process over the network and if so will that ease up the load to make it not so crash happy?

Not possible right now and i think the network overhead might even be slower
Have you tried a smaller buffersize and ticking pre emptive flushing?
Also, run the game on a cpu affinity of at most half of your total amount of cpu cores(preferably just 1) . That way the other cores can deal with the data that one core generates

in the task manager rightclick the process and choose "set affinity..."
there pick the cpu's you wish to run the game on.

just tried and the game still came to a halt when i start it. guess this game just does not want to be debugged.

And you did enable pre-emptive flushing ?
Can you run the game in windowed mode? (Switching from desktop to the fullscreen game tends to take a long time) Does the game only freeze,or windows itself?

yup, enabled preemptive flushing and the game is windowed by default. It's only the game itself that freezes. Once i hit start the game basicly just stops working till i hit end. I even tried lowering the buffer.
