Cheat Engine

Generally im trying to find some pointers in Dungeon defenders...
but i also have this problem in cheat engine tutorial...

i try to change "mana" and "DU" in Dungeon defenders...
it also works fine but on every level restart i have to rescan it...
so i know that i have to find the (multi level) pointer

so i startet the cheat engine tutorial for multi level pointer...
well finding a pointer is not this hard but the strange thing happens if i try to find level 2 pointer...

so when i found my level 1 pointer i right klick it and select "find out what accsesses..." then "find out what accsesses pointer" and change the value but it dont find anything
i also tried every of the 4 or 5 possible pointers i found at 1st scan but the same thing with every pointer...
i also watched some video tutorial for this and cant find out whats wrong...
why nothing seams to acces my level 1 pointer?
is it some setting or something like that?

im using windows 7
intel i7 quad core
and an SSD as main drive
but dont know if it matter

is there a good tutorial how to use pointer scanner the best (most efficient) way? there are lots of settings

The default settings will work in most cases. You can start learning by reading this forum, doing the tutorial and watching youtube videos for pointer scanner tutorials.
