Hey I'm really new at this and not very familiar with the software, do you think you can help me out? I have tons of projects due in a couple of weeks and It'd be awesome if you could help me get started in a comfortable spot.

Is it better to write everything out simply first then add effects and animation or do the animation and effects as I go?
