i dont auto update anything, cccp usually only updates like once a year tops so i didnt expect it so soon. i check the madvr thread and update that more often than cccp though

no, for everything, look up home theater guides for regular people who watch like the avengers or some shit, and they use the same codecs that are in cccp with close to the same settings, cccp just makes it more convenient and if its being updated there's no reason to not use it
