So I understand the whole basic's of finding the memory addy and being able to change value and all that my problem is I believe Im running into code shifting I can get the value to change but when you run the game again it defaults back to previous amount. any suggestions?

You mean DMA ? Codeshifting is something else, its when the whole code locations or module base moves.

There are pretty nice tuts around about dma, just have a look around or google

Ill take a look to see if it is DMA but from what I could find it said it was code shifting. Basically the guy says that in some game they have what is called code shifting so like lets say I wanna change my health to stay at 100 all time welll you can find the memory address for it but as soon as you complete another action in the game the dll that has been injected into the game is shifting the code so that the base may say what you want but within a min or so it goes back to the original value maybe that makes a little more sense

Code shifting is what happens when you find your assembler scripts don't work anymore. (To bypass that write the addresses as modulename+offset)

What you're describing is dynamic memory allocation, since you're only changing a value(health) and not a piece of the code
