Employers ask for it nonetheless, and it never hurts to add this on top of your CV. I have four years of working experience (and the accompanying projects) to go along with it. Albeit I haven't done much with C# or .NET (two projects). Too bad you're too much of a dick to just congratulate me.

It's possible, but I find it highly doubtful an entire class of high schoolers went to a prometric testing center to take a test. Not to mention the costs. It still costs roughly 75 dollars to take such a test for students. I'll believe it when he posts proof that he took the test (simple prometric screenshot with the taken exam would suffice). Otherwise he's probably talking out of his ass, trying to look smarter than he is. I'll admit the questions weren't that hard, but I wasn't even developing in .NET until a few months ago. I've heard the previous framework tests were a lot easier than the 4.0 tests.

According to this I'm specialized in the two most used web development languages right now (I've posted about my PHP developments many times). I don't see the error in brushing up my .NET for web development. Most people here seem to have an "either/or" mentality, when doing both just seems like a massive plus in my book.
