I am trying to give myself some extra cash in Life Quest 2: Metropoville, I find 3 values easily & since some games require you to change more than 1 value I change them all. But the moment I flip back to the game, even though it will show in my cash that the money has been added, the game tells me I do not have it when I try to make a purchase.
Flipping back to Cheat Engine (v 6.2) it shows the values at their original number before I edited them.
Does anyone know why this is? I have tried multiple ways to find a different value, did the x8 & double & several float scans, yet nothing brings up any numbers besides those first 3 on Exact Value scanning.
_______
I found a trainer on here & thought to simply use it, but it crashes my game. I am using the current version of the game from Big Fish -downloaded it this morning.

Try a different value type. Perhaps it's stored as float or double insteadof 4 bytes, and the address you found is only a display value

When you scan just use ALL for the value type. I always use that type as an emergency if I can't find anything.
