I have an item that gives me +5% rare loot find in BL2. I have spent the last good hour trying to get this to work without any luck.
I tried 4 byte, I tried float, and even double.. I heard health is a float in this game so I focused my efforts there..
Starting with unknown initial value, I equipped the relic to give me +5% loot find. . Searched value increased.. Then I unequiped and searched value decreased.. I come up with 162 results that all increase and decrease as I equip and unequip this item in a float search. I can't seem to narrow it down any better then that. I'm no expert with CE, but I've always been able to do simple things such as ammo, hp, etc. I even played the tutorial game, but it didn't seem to help me here. Any help on this would be very appreciated as I'm out of ideas.
I've never had to search for a % of an increase or decrease without seeing any actual numbers.. Thanks guys!

Why would you even do that? Why dont you make sure you get attacked in the game and search for decreased, and use somekind of health potion and search for increased etc. I think that will give you much better results.
Or you can freeze the results one by one and see which one works.

well, because I'm not trying to modify health. I was using it as an example. I'm trying to find my loot chance. Thanks for the reply though!

If you can equip that item that gives you the loot chance you can search for an unknown value, de/equip the item, increased and decreased. That should work.
I think you should look for a 4 byte first. If you can any result with a high value, change it to float. Let me know if this worked.
