Cheat Engine

I updated to Cheat Engine 7.4 today, then got a weird error.
Before (using 7.3), using the speedhack with a hotkey worked perfectly fine in all cases.
Upon updating to 7.4, however, trying to use the speedhack using a hotkey when the speedhack has not been toggled on before manually causes an error window that only says "Speedhack alternate test" and fails to enable the speedhack.
After some testing, I found that using a hotkey that includes both Ctrl and Alt causes the error in 7.4 even though it did not in 7.3.

What might the problem be?
It would be nice if I could continue using the same hotkeys.
