Cheat Engine

I've look all over and I've had no luck. The problem im having is that I'm playing paper mario on project 64, and i was using cheats. And because of these cheats i skipped a part where i get the miracle water which is a key item. The project64 cheats has an item hacking thing but the miracle water isnt placed in my key items list, so it's fuckin useless. And so im stuck until i figure out how to hack this miracle water into my list.

I found this website for the hex's or whatever, but the instructions are so fuckin vague its annoying.

The key things i need to use are:
10FA60-10FA9F Key Items
5A00 Miracle Water

Idk how to plug these into cheat engine or hex workshop. So I'm hopping someone here can please help me. And please be specific, I've gotten so frustrated at vague instructions. :/

Next time play with your own cheat codes, so you know exactly what they do and how they affect the game.
anyways i see only one solution, and that is to restart the game from the beginning
or find some savegame.

anyways, you need to open up the savegame file with hex workshop, find some address that indicates the items you have, add the "key" the hex numbers by adding or replacing some 00 00 00 00 00 .. .. .....
that's how you do it, perhaps you can read the annoying post again and search for some address or a place to place the item code in the savegame file.

cheat engine can help you with that but is not indicated, ce is a memory scanner not a hex editor.
