Cheat Engine

I'm a novice Cheat Engine user.Can I get instructions on how to change the forward jump distance in a game? I'm trying increase the jump distance in the pc game Insecticide Episode one from Steam.I just bought it from Steam for a dollar.I can't finish it due to the very limited forward jump distance.Any help would be appreciated.

find the z position of your player, then find the code of the gravity, nop it, lift your player a few inches from the ground, now your player shouldn't fall down.
PS: forgot to tell, also find the x and y so that when your player is (not touching ground) you can move it like a puppet.
after you finish restore the original code for gravity, and the player should fall down again, not being hurt because you lifted it just a little bit.

tips: stay on the ground > unknown initial value > jump and pause > increased value > stay on the ground > compare to initial value > unchanged value > and so on ...

I don't know how to do anything you just told me.I only know how to use the speed hack and how to find known values such as bullets,life etc.Thanks for the info though,evidently I have too little Cheat Engine knowledge to take on this task.
