Running Cheat Engine 6.1 64-bit on Windows 7. Mostly used for PCSX2.
Randomly, after a while, values I've set to be frozen in the table are no longer frozen. I can go in and change them manually, but CE stops setting them automatically, though it does show the new values when the game changes them. I've notice this mostly in PCSX2 but only because that's mostly what I use CE in; I've seen it happen in other games I've tested as well.
The only way I've found to fix this is to close CE, reopen it, and reload the table. It then works for a while longer, but always stops updating eventually.
Is there a fix for this?
This leads to another question:
For some games (most RPGs for example) getting things back up to "normal" after reloading the table is rather time consuming. A typical table I make will have, for example values for "Current HP" and "Max HP", and to get it to stay full at all times through level-ups, buffs, etc I lock "Current HP" and set its value as "(Max HP)" (though I use shorter names).
With one value it isn't that big a deal, but retyping that for HP, MP, sometimes Stamina or something similar, for the half dozen or more characters that many RPGs have... it gets to be rather tedious, especially with the "randomly stops updating" issue mentioned above.
Is there some way to automate setting that up (within CE; I know how to make keyboard macros if I have to, but it's a pain to update them if I change the table)?
