Hello all, CE noob here,

I'm trying to figure out a flash game atm and I'm trying to find the character base from the MP offset, this is the steps Ive taken so far

I found an address to show my MP

033A1B54 Value 100
Then you find out what accesses the address
I see that the address is obviously 07E8A310 with an offset of 64 so I add the address manually, I understand this is a pointer to the MP bar
Now I have 7 addresses, where do I go on from there? I tried choosing the smallest address like the CEF tutorial told me to, but then when I try scanning "what accesses the address" I get nothing, and I'm pretty sure it isn't a base since it wasn't highlighted green. Any tips?

if the smallest one doesn't return anything, try the next one
repeat till you find it

of course, since it's flash, you should give up, you're not going to find a useful pointer (it's an interpreter/emulator, on top of a browser, while you can find a pointer, it's most likely only going to work for you)

But try code injection, perhaps the game makes use of the JIT (Just in time compilation) so there's a way to hook the generated code

Oh no wonder, the tutorial was hacking an actual game, not a flash game. Ok, thank you dark byte
