Hello guys! I had to update the game command and conquer red alert 1 to 3.03 due to some problems that were occuring.

There are no trainers for this version so I tried to create one of my own.

Here's the thing. I can't hack the money address and I tried everything. I found two "2 bytes" addresses One is the counter of how much money I have and the other is about the numeric display. They're static addresses.

I hacked both, like "locking" the address or replacing with a NOP, and even using code injection as "add" to sum more money. But I don't know why, it doesn't work at all!

Whenever I buy something, the game always count my right amount of money instead of the amount I hacked!

I tried everything, I searched for every kind of byte and address and still nothing.


I'm not really asking for a convinient instantaneous solution. I just want to know WHAT and HOW the hell does the money mechanism work in this game so I have at least a lead in what to do.
