Cheat Engine

Hi. So I was using CE for more than 5 years without any problems on normal 32-bit XP and also tried on win 7 64-bit. But recently I installed the Win XP 64x and this is when I started to get the "Failure enabling speedhack. (DLL injection failed)" message. I tried running as administrator, addet CE to firewall exception list, as for antivirus - I don't have it... I know Win XP 64 is a bad choice for OS, but right now I don't feel like reinstalling windows... Is there any way to fix the error, or is XP 64 just that bad of OS?

Make sure that the admin account of your windows install has the rights to create threads in other processes, and that it is allowed to debug other processes not owned by the admin.

Have you tried running the 32-bit executable of ce (as admin) and try that ?

Oh... damn how did I forget to test it with other exes... Anyway it seem to be working only with the "cheatengine-i386.exe" ... Thank you for the help : Very Happy
