My jaw has been "rusty" since I was 14 y/o, so no, you're not dying.
You're just going to get a lot of strange stares when you goof off and start playing with your jaw every once in a while.

Funny you should say this. I was walking down an empty street opening my mouth really wide to see if it was squeaking. Passed a parked car that had someone in, they gave me a pretty 'wtf' look.

Basically no tough foods like steak or my jaw locks up and then I can't open my mouth for half an hour.
