Ok I found a function which increases my lives by 1.
It consists of about 60 addresses in the memory viewer.

In order to increase my lives by 1 whenever I want, I would like to use Auto Assembler to 'run' that function, even when it normally wouldn't be run legitly by the game.

Because, in the game, you have to find a Life Powerup normally for the game to run that function and give you a life, obviously that is not a cheat..

So how do we make it do this?

I'm guessing it has something to do with poking and auto assembler I just can't wrap my head around it.

Find a function that is executed often and create a conditional jump there. Then write an assembly script that jumps to the function you want when a condition is met (such as a certain memory value being 1 or 0 which you can have set on a hotkey toggle in cheat engine).
