i'm not a hardware expert, but i think you should pick out a stronger PSU... 500 won't be enough if you will be adding newer components in the future

Im not very good at abbreviation as what you mean by " PSU... " but what you mean is Power Supply ?

The stronget one that I can afford ( in the budget list ) is :

Seasonic M12II 620W Modular 80PLUS Bronze which I can replace for the Silverstone 500W 80PLUS
I disagree. 500w is plenty for your build. Refer to this: http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp
Also, jesus christ, hard drives have risen in price.
This is a good build. You seem like you know what you're doing.

It might be enough for that current build but he said "500 won't be enough if you will be adding newer components in the future". I have a Corsair 650W single rail with 52A on +12v rail and soon that wont be enough for me. I should have gotten an 850W or more. Corsair makes awesome PSUs. If you buy a good PSU once, it will last you a long ass time.

I posted up another custom build a good help from people. From the 2nd build has a Intel Core i5-2500K probably for overclocking.. If I bought the Intel Core i7, would the other parts still be compatiable. Can anyone find out the final cost would be if I had a i7 than a i5?
The second one will last you a very, very long time. It will be able to max out any new game (battlefield 3 for instance) with ease at any reasonable resolution. In 5 years, it will still hold water, although you'll probably have bought some upgrades by then, even if you don't think you will. Don't bother with an i7. The 2500k will easily overclock to equal or greater performance then the i7 even on the stock cooler. But if you really want it, yes, an i7 will be just as compatible. Any socket 1155 processor will work with any 1155 processor, only excepting extreme cases.

My suggestion is to just go for it. Anticipating building a computer and running around in circles with what parts you're going to buy will drive you crazy (it drove me crazy, for sure).

Nope, that's everything. Again, I'd strongly recommend the 2500k, as the extra performance you get from the i7 is in my opinion not worth the significant price increase. Refer to the tom's benchmarks: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/sandy-bridge-core-i7-2600k-core-i5-2500k,2833-19.html

I would recommend looking at all the benchmarks in that article before you make your decision.

Thanks for the response. I wanted to know if these intel i7 cores were compatiable with the "2nd" custom rig. Its about 50-80 bucks more if I did upgrade to a intel i7 core. Just if I do decide to go from a intel core i5 to a i7.

As apart of this intel core , am I also missing anything else before I am ready to purchase all this?

If you have extra cash for i7 then why not? And get the K version since its unlocked(2600K). Also you might want to consider a 6Gb/s hard drive instead of 3Gb/s if you want some extra speed n juice out of that ASRock motherboard.
Here is 6Gb/s with same specs for same price as that Samsung one.

Refer to the article I posted. The i7 usually yields less than a 5% increase in performance, and for some games, no increase in performance. The whopping 100 buck price difference absolutely does not justify that. That's why not. Instead he should overclock the i5. You don't even need an aftermarket cooler.

i7 has its pluses too, more cache, Hyper-Threading Support, 8 threads not 4, i7 is better for sli/cfx, triple channel memory and w/e else, google for more if u want.
Check this out too, 7,459 vs 10,005 is a noticeable difference.

2700k vs 2600k would be a waste of $ but if choosing between i5 and i7 i would go i7.

SATA3 HDD is even compatible with SATA2 ports, just that the speeds would be limited to 3Gb/s if you plug it in to SATA2. Your Mobo supports 6Gb/s so i don't see why would you get 3Gb/s instead of 6Gb/s if its the same price/space/rpm/cache. Seagate makes good HDDs too, i had 2 seagate hdds for a long time now and they still work. WD and Seagate are my favu~
